Quiet family campsite with many shaded pitches on the banks of the Loire river near the castle of Gien. The pitches are not delimited and give a great sense of freedom. The city of Gien is known for its pottery. At the campsite is a heated swimming pool that can be covered in case of bad weather and a pool for small children. Along the Loire, you can do cycling. ' Loire à Vélo ' cycle routes are marked. Rental of canoes, bikes and caravans with hotel service.

Nice view of the city of Gien and we were able to hire E-bikes from the site

Grote, maar smalle plek. Mooi uitzicht op Gien en de Loire. Hele basic camping.
De ijskar was ondanks het goede weer niet open. Sanitair was oud en niet geweldig.

Great location - short walk into Gien Excellent shop across the road Quiet and relaxing site
Sanitary blocks are fairly basic Pool is pretty small, though we didn’t use it Not sure if restaurant is ok just for drinks?
