Stayed 2 nights and site itself ok. However filthy waste area for emptying and disgusting. Ate in restaurant one night and food was terrible.
Improve cleanliness of waste area.

Nice, spacious pitches on a small campsite with bar, restaurant and dog off lead paddock
Food was 'average'. We were also limited on choice, as you hadn't got several items on the menu!

We stayed at St Louis for the first and last night of our recent holiday. St Louis is about 20 minutes from both the tunnel and the port so it is handy but is away from other problems that caravans can experience in the main areas of Calais. An Aldi and an Auchan Market are about 5 minutes away from the site. The site is a mix of static caravans with touring pitches mixed into the gaps. The grass is well kept but the pitches vary from quite small to large. Electric is reliable and water points are spread throughout the site. The bar which doubles as reception is open from 2pm daily and provides drinks and has a decent menu- their take on Welsh Rabbit has to be tried! WE have tried a few sites in Calais and this is our favourite.

Stopped at the site on our way back to the Shuttle. Very friendly welcome and great information from a very obliging young lady manning reception. Peaceful, good size pitches and excellent onsite restaurant/bar. A great find will stay longer next time
