Super campsite with a lot of detail thought about to make it a great place for camping.

Nothing I can think of. Unless you can move the Alps and herds of wildebeest strolling across the fields into the scenery….

Campsite situated near a lovely village, stayed for only one night as very expensive, charged us for our 2 dogs and for a river view ( optional ) but not worth it . most expensive in 10 weeks of travelling through Spain and France especially with restaurant and pool shut. Got there at 11.45am paid but told you could not go on site till 2.00pm and to park up in the village the market was on so it was very busy and struggled to park considering the site was practically empty.

We love it here and have been many times, it never fails to please. Immaculate site, full of mature trees, good sized pitches (ours right next to the Loire), with great facilities - spotless shower block/loos with nearby composting and waste facilities, laundry, wifi, chickens and herbs!, great nearby local shops, very interesting place and handy for big towns like Saumur and Chinon.

I honestly can't think of any.

The site is situated on the river with lovely views especially riverside pitches. Large, level pitches with easy access to the town. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Toilet block is due an upgrade
