Camping Domaine des Chênes Blancs is situated in the Vaucluse. The camping is situated in the vicinity of Apt, a village that is known for its candied fruit. There are several villages in the vicinity, such as Rousillon and Gordes, definitely worth a visit. The Provence, the region in which the camp site is situated, is well known for its beautiful nature reserves and the large number of sights. All in all, plenty to do with the camp site as a base.

It was very easy and great area to stay if you want to explore Luberon.
Can be very remote if you aren’t able to be very mobile easily.

The staff were all really welcoming and helpful, the amenity blocks were clean, cleaned several times a day. The area is beautiful and is really the reason we came!
Low branches, pitches very tight for a 7m caravan and awning, in fact we left our car in a vacant pitch all of our stay. The nearest electrical connection was across the campsite road, not very safe! I did tell the reception staff but nothing happened about it! There was another box but it wasn't working our entire stay.

The site is well laid out, peaceful, set amongst mature trees. A 10 minute walk into Avignon. We'll be back.
The bar/cafe staff were a bit lackadasical, disinterested and the bar closed at 9:30.
