På Vänerns elvebredde, Sverige største innsjø, og ikke langt fra landsbyen Mellerud i Dalsland, finner du den livlige Mellerud Swe-Camp Vita Sandar. Dalsland er kjent som «lille Sverige» fordi området har mange av særpregene som er å finne i andre deler av Sverige. Det er en av de minste regionene i landet, men med et veldig variert landskap.
