Havelland is een bosrijke streek in de omgeving van het stadje Rathenow. Je kampeert hier niet ver van Potsdam en Berlijn (zeventig kilometer). Midden in deze prachtige, dunbevolkte streek ligt Campingpark Buntspecht. Het terrein grenst aan een langgerekt meer, net iets buiten het stadje Ferchesar in Natuurpark Westhavelland. Een uitstekende plek dus voor iedereen die van rust en natuur wil genieten. In de omgeving kun je heerlijk fietsen en wandelen. Berlijn is natuurlijk een topbestemming voor een dagtrip. Je bereikt de stad snel en gemakkelijk met de trein (driekwartier vanuit Rathenow).
