As a base for the beach and visiting the area it\'s fine. It\'s tightly packed so sitting on the campsite is not great. But the beach and it\'s bars are attractive and very close. Dishwasingfacilities appear poor compared to the rest of the otherwise excellent sanitary blocks. Tepid, limited \" hot\" ester on a push button system that gives maybe a cup of water each go! Apart from these 2 niggles we would use it as a base again.

Eventhough we were there in low season we got a not nice site. There is almost no shade, the sites are brown without trees or flowers. The pool was already closed

This campsite in July was full of young Spanish people who would party on the beach all night, but would then walk back through the campsite until 6.30 am. this is fine if the pitches were separated with a fence or bush but they are totally open which means you have drunken teens walking right through your pitch and past your window. this is not acceptable for me as I have a table and chairs set up outside my campervan and don't want a constant stream of drunken teens stumbling through them. maybe it's just me but I want to feel as though my possessions are safe and that I can get a good night's sleep. well I didn't and after moving pitches I was woken several times the second night as well. we left after two nights and won't be returning. but give it a go your self see what you think. by the way I'm a full time camper and live in Spain.

As said by other reviewers this is a great site for visiting Cadiz or Jerez. The ferry to Cadiz is a 20 minute walk from the site and the train station for Cadiz or Jerez is about 35 mins walk. The large sandy beach is 2 minutes walk and it was very quiet when we visited. The town of Santa Maria is worth meandering through, there are lots of restaurants and bars. We visited on the weekend of the Spanish MotoGP at the Jerez circuit and the site was very busy from Friday onwards. Bikers took over the town on Friday night and there was a real buzz to the place, not to mention screaming bike engines. We left before the music festival (Iggy Pop was on) though we were told it would go on until 04-00hrs and it was right next to the site.

As part of a 2-month tour of France and Spain, this was our 16th site and the only one which has compelled me to write a review. The site itself is good - 3 separate well-maintained WC/Shower blocks. 2 very helpful people on reception and 2 who are in dire need of some customer relations training. Wi-fi unreachable - no help whatsoever until receptionist changed. On paying the bill (midweek) at 9 am we asked what time the on-site shop would open - to be told - 'Next week'! No goodbyes/ hope to see you again... Pleasant and helpful reception staff would have changed my 3* to a 4*

I booked seven days, but stayed for ten. The staff were very helpful at check in, no problems. The shower and toilet facilities are very clean, but no toilet paper. There is an excellent on site bar / restaurant. The pool is also excellent, 33 metres with a separate children's pool. The only drawback was that the on site supermarket was closed, but there were two nearby in the town.

DO NOT USE. They don't like ACSI. Electric went off after switching over - when I complained as my food went off while we were out I was told 'what do you expect as you do not pay full price!!'.

Welcomed by a friendly receptionist, allocated a pitch, not heaps of space and not much privacy but good ground, we were happy to be out the shade but unsure as to whether shade was available anyway. Toilet and washing facilities fine, large washer and dryer but only 2 machines available at a time. Showers great, nice and hot and clean. no entertainment on offer during our stay, not too far from the shops and very close to the beach. Exercise area nearby too. Restaurant open on site, we did not eat but checked out the menu and was impressed with what's on offer, reasonable prices. Wifi available at pitches, connection good. Free wifi at restaurant.
