All comments about the poorly maintained toilets still apply. This is not a category one site by any standard. The only top quality aspect is the beautiful setting. The worst aspect, by far was the metre high speaker which local children used to blare music over the entire site as they overran the pool area. Don\'t think about coming here if you want some peace and relaxation. Very badly managed site.
All prior comments about weeds, busloads of local kids in the pool and broken showers and toilets still apply. We planned to stay a week but left after two nights because the smell from the cattle feed-lot and the associated flies were too annoying. It is about 500m upwind so unless you really like strong, strong cow-poo smells then beware of this issue. There is no free WiFi anywhere, which seems a bit cheap in this day and age The site has spectacular views but the cow-poo smell was a deal killer for us.
Very large, very exposed site offering very little privacy 5km outside town of Overa.the Via Verde de la Sierra runs past camp site. Unfriendly receptionist on both check in and departure. we stayed at the bottom of the site near reception and the shower drains where completely blocked, not very clean and the whole site looked uncared for. Not one to return to.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, a clean well laid out campsite .The 360° views from this site are some of the best you can get on any site in Europe with amazing sunsets over the mountains. We would definitely recommend.
Great site overlooking Olvera. good location for visiting the other white towns and also for the via verde. In January the top shower block did not have hot water and also strangely there are no outside doors on the ladies toilets which is a bit chilly!
This fairly new site has a lot to learn and do before we would return. The positives are it was easy to find and close to the road. Large, wide pitches, good, friendly staff and NON push button showers!
Excellent site. Large pitches and spotless showers and loos. Stayed from end of April to early June 14. Friendly staff, bar and restaurant very good value and delicious food. Hope to visit again.
We have visited this camping several times during the last two years. The environment and the views are amazing and the swimmingpool is nice. And there are very few people in any season. But unfortunately, the maintenance of the campsite is getting worse: toilets broken for more than three weeks, toilets without cleaning during 48 hours at least, gardens without proper care. The restaurant is closed. Too many people come to the swimmingpool from the near village and they reserve the sunbeds and shadows with their towels despite of not be there and campers can not enjoy the pool! Sincerely I hope the situation improves. That is a shame because the site would be wonderful.
The pool is good and the supermarket works well. The camping area is clean and free of shadows. The new toilet and clean. The staff are friendly. Too bad the park be located next to an industrial area where ecological fertilizer is manufactured and the smell is very bad.
A fantastic new site with stunning views, thanks to the spacious pitches on many levels. Excellent food and service in the restaurant too. Bit hard to get a tent peg into, but that wouldn't worry most people. Very quiet when we went, so make the most of it now.
