Site is positioned well for great views of the Sierra Nevada’s. Bus for Granada stops at the site entrance and is inexpensive. The site has lacked investment and TMC for several years. The facilities are functional but issues raised several years ago are still there. There is a lady cleaner that does an excellent job when she is there. When she is not the young man from reception , who is very pleasant, does the cleaning but just a cursary clean and it shows and smells. The owner of the site speaks little English and seems to try and do the work himself but many things are missed. Tickets for the Alhambra can be booked at the site but book early to get the right time slots. Top Acsi rate but does not deserve it in comparison to other sites.
We read the reviews and went to stay with an open mind. However we found the site much better than expected, staff very friendly and helpful and tickets can be purchased there for Alhambra visit. It is a small site with a comfortable easy atmosphere. Food in the camp restaurant was excellent and staff also very friendly there. Bus at site runs nearly every hour to Granada. Views from site over Sierra Nevada fabulous and only a short drive to the mountains. Not much in mini market but as it is out of season this is to be expected. Would recommend and will stay again.
Very good, small, terraced campsite, superbly constructed. Pitches are mainly gravel with only a few having grass. Toilet facilities are very good and are clean. Restaurant was excellent! Pool was not open and looked very dirty. Pitches had views toward the Sierra Nevada, wonderful! Proximity to Granada was a bonus but booking in advance for the Alhambra and Generalife is a must! Check at reception or book online.
A very friendly clean campsite. extremely friendly helpful willing staff. You can choose your own pitch to suit needs some small some larger pitches. Amazing views of Sierra Nevada mountains spectacular anytime of day. We stayed 5 days. Very friendly and hospitable guests from all over Europe. Very handy for visiting Granada. We will be back later this year.
My abiding memories after having stayed 2 nights recently was the smell in the toilets, the outrageously expensive wifi and the convenient bus service to Granda. All the other comments about lack of investment ring true.
Excellent access to pitch but sailed straight past the site due to very poor direction signs for the site and luckily managed to turn round in the village. Pitches on the top terrace are tricky with our large outfit, we could have been warned. Good restaurant with bar which is frequented by the villagers. Reception could not have been more helpful but as always fresh eyes could come up with improvements regarding the site, having said that a very enjoyable 2 night stay in December and would visit again. I have left out some responses due to the season so the score will be understandably low, eg. pool, entertainment, sports facilities etc.
Would recommend this site for visiting Granada. 1.60euros by bus good view of Granada as you enter. Staff helpful and good to find a Cafe/restaurant open. Pitch good firm standing, as out of season plenty of space. Toilets good and clean plenty of hot water for everything including dishes etc.
This is a very small site located in a lovely location overlooking Sierra Nevada. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site is very popular with the local village which also is worth a visit. The bus to Granada stops outside or you can drive in 15-20 mins..
The only down side would be that the toilet and showers could do with a face lift. It wouldn't take a lot just replace the broken hooks and a stool in the shower
wouldn't go amiss. What i didn't like at all was that all the flushers in the toilets were plastics tags which you had to pull, very unhygienic
A fairly small campsite only a few km from the autovia. Beautifully located in the Sierra Nevada with excellent views of the surrounding area. The pitches are fairly small for a larger motorhome. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good although a little expensive. There is cheap & easy access to Granada with the bus stopping outside the site. It snowed overnight whilst we were there.
