This typical Spanish campsite is located in a beautiful spot on the Costa Brava. You camp within walking distance of the beach. Camping Les Medes is praised for its friendly staff and its sanitary facilities that are always kept spic and span. You will be staying at a small family-run business here, so the contact is very personal. The site is located two kilometres from L'Estartit and 4 kilometres from the Parc Natural del Montgrí.

This is a little jewel of a site, situated near a stunningly beautiful beach and a small town. Well positioned as close to shops, beach and town. The site is very quiet, close to a nature reserve, interesting for bird watchers or amateur geologists. Its open and light - we visited in winter so this was a must have - the facilities were excellent, beautifully maintained and perfectly clean. Staff were friendly and efficient, helpful and kind. Free Spanish lessons are on offer each afternoon. The outdoor pool looked great although in December we didn't test it out. There's also an indoor pool. There seems to be plenty for children to do, though we didn't have any with us; and lots of walking/cycling in the area. We loved staying here and will definitely be back.
