All reviews are going to be subjective, but for us this is one of the best sites in Spain. They have spent a lot of money enlarging the site and putting in a new approach road. They now have fully serviced pitches, which will take any size vehicle for a couple of euros a night extra. Standard pitches are all good sized and well laid out. We\'re there around oct/nov and the site is pretty much empty. I doubt there were 30 vans on the whole site. The showers are excellent. The area is great for coastal waling. And the historic town of Tarrangona near by to explore. Its a tranquil break from some of the many hectic and cramped camp-sites further sound.
I have visited this site a few times and seen improvements on each visit. Lovely new pool complex and good new sports facilities. Lovely coastal walks from the site and easy walk(for the fit)/drive into town. Stayed on a plus pitch for the first time which was an excellent size with water/drainage but as this is a fairly new area planting is not fully established so shade is at a premium. Toilet & shower facilities excellent. Arrived this year to find a new road being laid so future access is going to be much easier, but until this is finished approach the road works with care if you have a larger unit. Would certainly visit again.
Staff very abrupt - they were helpful but you felt you were being a \'pain asking anything so we kept our distance - The facilities were spotless but not heated and the showers varied from hot to warm. There are many cats often they join you in the toilets and showers but they all looked well cared for and were friendly.
The pitches are a good size and flat.
This is quite a noisy site from train and road that goes on most of the night. Be aware that the site is off a unmade road with big holes and the sides falling away as you climb up the hill. We saw a coach get stuck with one wheel over the edge on one of the tight turns.
Clean well run site with with good pitch sizes, suitable for all size vehicles. We were there in September And were blessed with mostly good weather The site is on tiers, the highest with wonderful views over the bay and sea, although we opted to pitch up on ground level, which was very good. Local fishermans village was charming and within easy walking and cycling distance. There are a couple of large supermarkets close to campsite. Showers excellent. Wifi was free The pool is superb and overlooks the bay, and the restaurant is located at the pool The beach at the bay adjoining the campsite is mostly stone and pebbles but if you walk a little further around there are a few others to choose from. We would certainly return.
I stay here as it is within easy reach of the River Ebro. My wife can stay behind and walk to the village and there are many walks around the campsite. The site is always clean and the showers are 1st class... being winter there is no swimming pool or entertainment. Staff were always very helpful and had a good knowledge of all things local.
Lovely position, good coastal walks, excellent for dogs, small village with a couple of small supermarkets. Very clean site toilets and showers very clean, water for washing up was always cold when were there. Staff very pleasant and helpful, wi-fi was free when we were there; a bit hit and miss. Would go back to the site.
Nice, tidy, well run site with with good pitch sizes, suitable for all size vehicles. Electricity stable at 10 amps. We were there in May and it was very quiet, no more than a dozen campers. Local town, charming and a working fishing port and within easy walking and cycling distance. You can alos get to it via the coastal track. Showers excellent. Oddly only one place to fill water barrels and empty wastes. Wifi 15 euros for a week and a capped download speed. Beach mostly stone and pebbles but many to choose from. Big supermarkets Lidl and Mercadonna 20 miles away. Site has a good very well stocked mini market.
The camp site is well organised and the staff are helpful. It is quite close to a beautiful pebble beach with lovely coastal walks in both directions. Some of the pitches do not have much shade and it can get hot here even in April. The access roads are not entirely straight forward but the camp site generally and the surrounding area are well worth a visit.
