Do you love camping by the sea? Then the camping site O Muiño is the perfect spot for you. Right on the water with the sound of the crashing waves and beautiful views of the cliff coast and Atlantic Ocean. With fresh and clean sanitation, a restaurant with great fish and meat dishes and its own swimming pool. And the bar, supermarket and the lovely atmosphere complete this camping site.
The numbered sites are not very large, but are sufficient for a pleasant stay. Water and electricity are nearby each site. You can park for free on the car park outside of the camping site.
Dining and shopping
The restaurant of O Muiño offers good meals, and the service is helpful and friendly. At the front there is a small terrace to linger on. The supermarket is located between the restaurant and reception. You'll find your daily needs there. At this site you will also find the large toilet building with enough showers and toilets for the number of guests. The building is in good condition. There is also a small toilet building at the beach, which can be reached via stairs from the camping site.
The rugged coast in this part of Spain is very rocky and not really suitable for swimming. No problem, just jump into the outdoor pool on the camping site, from where you have a great view of the cliffs and the sea.
A large number of the guests at O Muiño come from Spain. In addition, there are many German and Dutch families and walkers on their way to Santiago de Compostella.

Lovely location albeit rather remote, nice restaurant 2 mins out of the campsite direction of Baiona. Big negative for us was the non stop barking of a dog which belonged to a permanent resident, we left early because of it, such a shame as we would have given the site 4/5 had it not been for the dog. Ps plenty of room out of season, sardines I would think in peak season due to how small the pitches are.
We had stayed at this site a couple of years ago and so we were pleased to come back. The site is in a beautiful position overlooking the rocky coast with access to a small sandy beach. It is quiet out of season, but no doubt noisy and lively in season as there are many bungalows and the campsite occupies only a small part of the site. The site is isolated, but there are hotels in the vicinity. The swimming pool is small but well maintained. The restaurant is good and prices reasonable and we ate there most nights. There is a small shop with a limited choice but no albarino, although it is available in the bar. All the staff are helpful and friendly. English is spoken in reception but not elsewhere, but this was not a great problem
Site access is good and most pitches are reasonably level. There is no shade but this is not such an issue in Northern Spain where the temperatures are normally lower.
Amazing site on the beach with beautiful views. Easy access, level pitches on grass. Pitches 98 and 97 are the longest for vehicles 8m+. Excellent food in the restaurant, staff do not speak English but they get by! Fresh bread daily in the bar. Cycle track from the site to nearest villages, both 10km away.
The setting is fabulous, overlooking the rugged coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and the stunning views of the sunset are to die for. The Ruta Maxica, a lovely walk into the surrounding mountains, starts just across the road and it's a 90 minute walk to a waterfall where you can cool down before the walk back. We loved it!
Excellent position on rocky coastline with direct access to small sandy beach. Mountains behind. Peaceful and relaxing site. Not too busy. Opportunities to fish, dive, tennis courts and play areas.
Great stopover for a few nights. Good coastal road.
