Although you might consider Monte Generoso as a transit campsite, it would be a shame not to stay a little longer. Because it is a great base from which to make lots of fun excursions, by foot, by bike, or on the water. This charming family campsite is located right along the banks of Lake Lugano, thereby promising lots of water activities. Here you always have a priceless view.

We had a fabulous time here at Camping Monte Generoso. The staff were very welcoming and our pitch was perfect. We had chosen a spot right on the lakeside which was great for swimming and for our kayak. The sanitary facilities were the best I've seen with individual toilet and sink cabinets and great showers. Showers were an extra cost but at 50c for 6 minutes it wasn't a lot to pay. The campsite was expensive, we paid 130 CHF for 2 adults for 2 nights but it really was wonderful.
