Camping Bad Zurzach is centrally located at the edge of the lovely village of Bad Zurzach, known for its thermal baths. The Rhine River flows in front of the camping site, and the hilly setting offers an unending network of magnificent cycling and hiking routes. A public, heated outdoor pool is located right next to the camping grounds. Campers receive a free entry pass.
Despite the fact that the camping site borders on a major road, you can hardly hear it. The grounds look quiet, simple and neatly maintained. When you arrive, you will notice right away that the grounds consist of two sections. On the left of the entrance, there is a small building with the reception and a small restaurant.
Some of the pitches are paved and most of them are situated comfortably next to each other without demarcation. There is a separate tent field with a canopy that many cyclists use. Anyone coming to spend the night without their own tent or caravan can hire a caravan.
Noodles or schnitzel?
The biggest surprise with an Asian flavour is the Thai restaurant on the camping site. In addition to these specialities, there are also European dishes on the menu. The restaurant is comfortably furnished with several seats outside as well. For small purchases, the camp shop offers a solution.
Swimming at the neighbours' place
There is a large public swimming pool situated adjacent to the camping site The water is nicely heated from April to the end of September to 26 degrees and includes several pools, including a children's pool. There's a diving board for the daredevils. The large, round slide is literally and figuratively the high point of excitement for younger swimmers.
