Stopped for 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer. Site provides a free transport pass which we used to get the train (station 2.5km) to Basel and the trams in the city. Site is well managed with excellent sanitary facilities - not unisex. Shop, bar and restaurant as well as pool. ACSI rates applied. English speaking at reception and very helpful. One of the best sites we have stayed at
Nicely laid out site, with separate areas for touring vans. Friendly and helpful reception team. Toilets and showers are clean and well maintained though looking a bit tired. Difficult access road for large rigs but with care, no problem.
On site bar and shop. Great site for kids. Note you need a 3-pin Swiss power adaptor (free from reception). Reliable electrics. Large static home contingent on site who aren’t that friendly to tourers, so take care.
Good location, not far from A1 motorway and also excellent and regular tram service into Basel centre.
Pleasant stay and very close to suburban railway to get into Basel itself. Non English speaking staff but very helpful. Pitches flat and easy to get into. Facilities OK but not the best. You need a Swiss 3-pin adapter for power but the reception lets you have this for free if you ask nicely. Good site for kids, lots to do.
If you have a big rig, tricky to get into as its on narrow access road but we managed with a twin axle van. Recommended.
