Travelling party: Couple

A warm, helpful & informative welcome, in a stunning location. No marked pitches, but not a problem. Washrooms & washing up facilities in new wooden cabin, plenty of hot water, cleaned regularly. Extra costs would deter us from visiting again - too far to walk, no bus, so a taxi to Zermatt.

Glorious camp site! Beautiful area, surrounded by mountains, woods and distant glaciers. Just perfect.
Helpful staff and good food. Park where you like and just enjoy the peace and wonderful views. Shuttle bus from the site at reasonable cost to Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Can't praise the site enough!! Glorious.

Travelling party: Group of friends

We arrived late afternoon with no staff member in site or contactable, left hesitating what to do, it was a bad start to the whole experience. Once we found some one, we were left to do as we saw fit, hard to see what we were paying for. The restaurant was closed completely and the camping plot was cleared completely of snow. No advice was given for anything. The train staion is at least 20 minutes walk away, not as told by the campsite. Although the surroundings were nice, there was nothing else nice.

Travelling party: Seniors

While the surroundings of this campsite are pleasant and restful, I found the whole experience unsatisfactory. We arrived mid afternoon on a Tuesday with no one in attendance. We actually wondered what we were paying for. We were not the only unsatisfied customers at the time.
