We stayed in the camp for 3 nights while visiting and hiking in Zermatt. The staff was extremely nice and responsive. The sanitary facilities were very clean. In addition to the (limited) number of washing and drying machines, there is also a drying room, which we used extensively. The site does not accept pre-order invitations, stating that there is always a place. Staying there, seems that they have no problem keeping this promise. There are no marked pitches, and anyone can park anywhere, with very limited rules. In most cases, this is nice and poses no problems. There was a problem with a lack of hot water in the late hours of the day. The train station is 2 km from the site (in either direction). There is an hourly shuttle to/from the camp to Zermatt. Very convenient, but expensive. Note that for the early morning shuttle, you need to pre-order the previous day. The camp is located in a beautiful location, far enough from the train line.

First ever stay at a campsite being a brand new Motorhome owner and honestly really impressed. Staff were fantastic and very kind. All facilities (toilets, showers, electricity, waste disposal) exceeded expectations. A little chaotic in pitch selection but that was actually fun. Great walks, Zermatt just around the corner and would happily have stayed more than our two nights.
