My wife and I stayed here from 8th October 2018 for 3 nights. Clearly the site was quiet out of season and on checking in with our motorhome we were allocated a hardstanding full facility \"super-pitch\". The pitch was spacious with block paving and gravel surrounded by well tended grass. Over all Hendra has plenty of facilities available for food/drink/entertainment even though this was out of season. They run a mini-train into the town of Newquay which is free for residents at 0915 each day returning later in the afternoon. That said the Town is within a 40 minute brisk walk. The Oasis Pool complex has a free outdoor pool and a superb indoor leisure pool complete with 3 flumes that has a cover charge for guests staying at Hendra.
Also within walking distance of the site via quiet country lanes 2.5 miles distant is the National Trusts Trerice, an Elizabethan Manor well worth a visit. The onsite shop is well stocked and from what we experienced the staff were friendly and helpful employing night security for added peace of mind. I would certainly look to visit again with ACSI price making this a bargain
