Our second visit this year. Well situated off the M5 and with frequent buses into Cheltenham or Gloucester from the bus stops outside the site. On-site facilities are very good and the welcome from the Reception first-class. Acsi card holders can pay in euros.
A very good site, friendly and helpful staff.
Bus stop outside the site with regular service to Cheltenham and Gloucester. Easy access to M5
This site is ideally located for visits to Cheltenham & Gloucester with an excellent bus service to both. Good Wi-Fi & washing up facilities. There is considerable traffic noise but in October when we visited this wasn't a problem because we didn't sit out & our van has excellent sound insulation. Our 3rd visit which will not be our last.
Had 4 nights here in late September. Other than some road noise found this to be a very good site. Bus stops outside campsite with very frequent buses. Ideal stopover as well plus good for Motorhomes. Will visit again.
We have stayed here many times it just gets better. Since we stayed here last January the toilet facilities have been upgraded and are now excellent.
Excellent friendly staff, the very well kept site has a convenient location, close to the M5 and Cheltenham. Frequent bus service at the campsite entrance for Cheltenham and Gloucester. Close to pubs providing meals, Asda and other shops. Convenient position for touring the area and overnight stop. Highly recommended.
We love this site as a base for exploring both Cheltenham and Gloucester. The big bonus is the excellent bus service from just outside the site to both towns. Ten minute intervals during normal hours and every 20 minutes in the evenings and weekends until late. This means you can eat out or go to the theatre and catch the bus back to the site. Spacious site with good sized pitches and first class staff, friendly, welcoming and helpful. At the moment the toilet facilities are inadequate for a full site but these are being upgraded in January 2014 and will then be superb. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to fellow ACSI campers.
One of the cleanest sites we have ever stayed on, the owners are a delight to talk to and impart a wealth of information about the surrounding area. There is a bus stop right outside the entrance which takes you to Cheltenham and Gloucester, there is a pub, Asda, B&Q and an indian restaurant nearby. The toilet and shower block is a little small but are going to be updated. There is a motel attached to the site which again is kept very clean and and exceptionally good value. This campsite is perfect for touring Somerset and the Cotswolds. We will definitly be going back.
Excellent location, close to both Cheltenham and Gloucester with excellent and frequent bus to both right outside campsite. Super position to explore Cotswolds and Forest of Dean. Close to M5. Toilet block very clean but under pressure when very busy. An extension will be built later this year.
Very well run site - very clean and quiet.. good base for exploring area of Gloucester and Cheltenham..also cotswolds
