We stayed here for one night on our way home. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The pitch was large and had private lawned area with water next to motorhome. The site is beautiful with a cafe, small shop and beauty salon should you need it. Dog walking area was large and everything well kept and clean. The Ducks around the site where an added bonus. Great place to visit the many Stately homes, hope to return soon.
We Stayed here just one night en route home from France and it was an excellant choice. The staff were very freindly and helpful the pitch and facillities were excellent. We live in Lancashire and will definatley use this site again.
Stayed here a week and couldn't fault the site. Staff helpful, pitch good size and entire area very well maintained. Would definitely recommend.
A wonderful four days spent here and we didn't want to leave. Facilities are lovely, clean and spacious. Staff were friendly helpful and very welcoming. The cafe/bar was a bonus and great value. Kids loved the play area, the games barn and the animals. We loved it so much we booked our next trip back there before we left.
We stayed here for a week for the fishing for me and the peace and quiet for my wife. There were quite a few units on site which were obviously there for long periods and there was some noise early in the mornings between 6 and 6.30 am as people went off to work and a fair bit of traffic when they came home. The pitch was very poor being very soft tarmac chippings which made siting the caravan difficult as the wheels sank into it. But the fishing was good.
good site very good for kids miles of land to walk on fishing very good staff helpfull working farm ducks run free in site many animals for children to see and pet great weeks holiday
loved our stop here, our large party got the day off to the best possible start with locally produced eggs & bacon, coupled with great fascilities, a peacefull environment & great weather meant we,ll be back
Very pleasant quiet site. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities are immaculate and sufficient. In fact the entire site is really well maintained. The farm has pigs, goats, sheep and many other animals including a couple of Alpaca! Also on site is a small fishing lake. In the evenings there is a well marked cross field walk to the pub. My only negative is that it seemed low on children's activities, though as we didn't have children there may be more than it seemed.
Excellent campsite with a great park and facilities for families. Staff were very friendly, weather was fab for us but facilities would cater for poor weather as there is a large games room.
We stayed for three nights and were very impressed by the size of the pitch, the large clean showers and the general organisation of the campsite. The wardens were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a well stocked shop and a Pizza delivery van on Friday evenings. Excellent campsite.
