"Good family camp site, especially if you like the(pebble) Beach and the sea. The beach is separated by a dike and can be reached from the campsite. The pitches are on grass or on gravel. There are many opportunities for (water) recreation on the campsite."

have your inspectors ever visited this campsite? it is the worst I have ever seen! the facilities are awful.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages
The location of this site suited us as we were meeting friends in the area, otherwise we would not have stayed. The actual pitch was lovely, but the site is more geared towards static caravans, with more permanent residents - who did not appear to tourist. The Facilities building is situated amongst the static caravans. We were told upon arrival that there was a new shower and toilet block, and had to pay for its key deposit. In actual fact, the old block had been (badly) renovated, and the door lock on the Ladies had obviously been missing for a few months. The Gents door was always propped opened. The showers have extremely high pressure and actually hurt to use them. All showers are fixed to the wall and are very high. There is a changing table but no other suitable facilities for babies or young children. The Disabled Shower/Toilet should be condemned! There are tiles missing from the walls and ceiling, the shower is fixed high on the wall and there is one railing. Definitely NOT worth his price. The nearby bar and outdoor swimming pools are nothing to do with the site.

Travelling party: Seniors
This site is way, way, overrated by ACSI. Toilets unbelievably filthy for most of the time. Advise not to use first thing. Luckily we had our own facilities. Campsite and bar staff not very friendly or helpful. We had booked for two nights. Arrived late first night and would have moved first thing next morning but alternatives fully booked. There were Dutch and German tourers too that were also somewhat distressed about the site, we felt sorry for them as mostly it was their first introduction to the UK. The site appears to be more a permanent encampment for local workers and chalet owners. Not to be recommended for tourers.
