About eighteen kilometres from the Welsh seaside resort of Aberystwyth is the attractive Woodlands Caravan Park camping site. Aberystwyth is a lively university town with lovely sandy beaches and the beautiful sea. You can camp here in a wooded area close to the centuries-old Devil's Bridge waterfalls and a steam railway. An ideal place for seekers of peace, nature-lovers, fans of the beach and, of course, those who love Wales. The camping site is easy to reach.
The green, well maintained site looks atmospheric. Set up your caravan, camper van or tent on the beautiful, gently sloping lawn dotted with deciduous trees and the forested low mountain range in the background. The pitches are spacious and partly paved. Want to hire something? It's good to know that you could end up in a hiker's hut, bungalow or an adventurous 'gypsy pod'. The sanitary facilities at Capo Ferrato are new, look well maintained, and are kept nice and clean.
Children have plenty of space on this camping site. There is a wonderful playing area with several pieces of play equipment, perfect for entertaining the children. The wooded area is great for walking (not suitable for those who are less mobile). The nearby area is home to a mountain bike trail. The camping site has various bicycle and hiking routes available for guests.
The tea room, complete with a cosy terrace on a wooden deck, is great for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon tea (always with 'homemade cake') or simple, hot meals. You can also get take-away meals in high season. The small camping shop features a limited range of groceries and a few typically Welsh products. You can also go there for camping gear.

Best toilet & shower block we have come across . Friendly receptionist who accommodated us as late entries and allowed us to use hard-standing with hook up on . We did not need hook-up and were trusted not to use it- we didn\'t!
Literally the best toilet and shower facilities I have seen on a camp site. Seem quite new and very clean, including a free hair dryer etc. This was even nice as the weather was a bit wet and cold (for July..)
The staff was very helpful and friendly, the price was good and we had a very nice dinner at the nearby Hotel. Would absolutely go there again!
fantastic camp site, well laid out with very spacious pitches and lovely views of the mountains, very clean and we'll kept, the best toilet block I have ever seen it is modern and spotless , first time here but not my last. well done
Full marks for the owners, who accept the ACSI card in low season at the true rate, not many in the UK do this. A gorgeous site in the heart of Wales, located in a very scenic part and sited at different levels on a hillside. The touring pitches are in a field, the gravel hard standings are limited, so book to avoid missing out, most have a TV aerial outlet to plug into. The grass pitches are inclined so you will need leveling blocks.
The locked, digitally controlled toilets and showers are modern clean and well maintained, hot showers instantly available. My wife is visually impaired and the disabled facilities are very good, with a huge wet room. Your pots and pans can be washed in huge stainless steel sinks, and there is a laundry room too. There is a tea-room on site and attractions nearby include the 'Devils Bridge walk', not for the disabled because it is extremely steep in places. There is a narrow gauge steam train close by the site approx 500m away. It takes you on a return journey into Aberystwyth and back through some lovely countryside. There is also a hotel some 350m away, which serves lunch and evening meals, some nights have free entertainment with live music. You are guaranteed to see the lovely 'Red Kite' soar in the sky overhead, with it's 'V' tail unmistakable and there is a daily feeding attraction of them nearby, with a viewing cabin.
