The welcome is good, but visitors are not told in advance that there are no ball games. Park is too small, games room pointless; its a wooden shed with one table football game (£1 a go) that was jammed, some sort of air game machine (£1 a go) and a prize machine where you put in a £1 and a plastic ball comes out with a gift inside. The TV went unused as its too high up on the wall to be used or seen and there's hardly any room to move as they've put a dining room suite in there!? The children are monitored far too closely. My son stood outside the toilet block bouncing his football with his hand and was told to stop. They do not like children running around either. Definitely NOT a family site. Nor are visitors told in advance of the cockerel in the field next door that crows every few seconds from 4.30 onwards each morning. Didn't see the owner after I'd had my lovely welcome as his Warden runs the park and he's not very nice to children at all! The owner's two dogs bark constantly.
At the time you were here we had many unruley children, running around other folks caravans & in & out of the toilet block, which for the children may be \\\'fun\\\' however for other campers/caravanners is not a pleasant experience and only leads to accident, damage or injury. At no point do we claim to be a big park, we are small & have reviewed our literature to include suitable ages & that we do not allow ball games as we simply do not have the landspace. I was not onsite much during this period due to a family member being ill, I was off site along with our 7 (!) dogs. Maybe not our dogs but the dogs at the farm adjacent to our site whom bark when working. We are in a rural setting & cows, sheep & cockerals are all part of that setting it is there natural environment. We do welcome well behaved children & well behaved dogs & have reviewed some policies for the 2012 season. You didn\'t seek to address any of this with the site at the time of your stay.
