Clean, small, very cozy and quiet campsite in beautiful nature. Children under the age of 18 years old are not allowed. Very friendly staff. Well suited for bird lovers (34 species). The famous garden of Geoff Hamilton (Barnsdale Gardens) is only a few driving minutes away.

This was 4th time we gave been. We stopped 4 nights. It's a lovely small adults only camp site. It's very quiet and relaxing. Every plot has a table and bench and there are lots of bird feeding station to watch the big variety of birds that visit. The owners are friendly and helpful. There's only one shower for ladies and one for men (2 toilets each though) but when we were there I never had to wait. You can hire electric bikes. Theres a a washing machine and small shop. Lots of flat country roads and Rutland water to cycle round if you are energetic. It's a very relaxing place with lots to do around. I'd recommend this camp site. To get the full benefit of the peace and tranquility -stay a few nights.
