With the Alps within 'grasp' and mountain lakes to walk past or wade through, Tyrol is a favourite destination for sporty holiday makers. And where better to stay than on a camping site where the owner welcomes you in a real mountain hut? Welcome to Alpen camping site Mark ...
Camping with a view
You drive to your generous pitch on paved streets, and find that this also has a hardened surface for your caravan or motorhome. The camping site is not actually laid out in terraces, but a portion is slightly elevated here and there. Because of its location, you have a view of the surrounding mountains and on one side you can even see the church steeple of Weer.
Activities of the outdoor club
The swimming pool is filled with pure mountain spring water. After a day's walk in the mountains or participating in one of the many activities of the outdoor programme, there is nothing like a refreshing dive. After a tiring day you will enjoy a meal in the camping site restaurant. They also serve breakfast and apple strudel.
Horse-drawn carriage rides
Children have the time of their life here. There is a special entertainment programme for them with daily horse-drawn carriage rides. In addition, children amuse themselves in the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. There is also a soccer field and a crafts room.
Parents also need a holiday...
Would you like a trip without the children? If so, childcare in combination with the entertainment team, has the answer for you. So, spend a day shopping with your partner in Innsbruck, less than a thirty-minute drive from the camping site.
