Thankfully the previous negative reviews bore no resemblance to our experience. I’d recommend staying here. Pleasant staff, easy booking in procedure. Good location if able bodied. There is a bus stop outside however. Slightly noisy with traffic. Good sized pitches. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

Kept waiting at the office as it was 15 minutes late opening in the afternoon. Were given no warnings of any problems on site. Showers and WC’s adequate and clean but scruffy and in need of updating. A relatively quiet night but woken at 6.30am by blaring music and hum of machinery, followed by short period of silence before loud drilling started at 7.30am at the building site to the rear of the campsite. No notices posted at the site office warning of the disruption. Didn’t bother to stay to look around the town
