In the Belgian Ardennes, between Malmedy and Sankt Vith, lies campsite Oos Heem. This small family campsite is true to its name: it has a convivial and homely atmosphere. There is even a communal living room. Oos Heem lies in the middle of nature; there are endless hiking and cycling opportunities in the area surrounding the campsite. During the peak season, there is an extensive entertainment programme for both children and adults.
At campsite Oos Heem, you camp on demarcated grass pitches. The terraced campsite is situated on gently sloping grounds and is beautifully landscaped; there are flowers everywhere. There are many permanent year-round pitches, but also sufficient touring pitches. There are also mobile homes, furnished (safari) tents and even fun Gypsy wagons available to rent. Next to the swimming pool lies a field for pitching tents, where groups will sometimes set up camp.
There are all sorts of activities for the entire family on the campsite. There is a petting zoo where the children can feed the chickens, pet the goats and even ride on the pony. They can also help with taking care of the animals.
Plenty of fun
On the outskirts of the campsite lies a covered heated pool. But there is also plenty to do on dry land. In the peak season, there is an extensive entertainment programme for all ages (from children and teenagers to adults). Activities for during the day include a crafts club, face painting workshop or children's theatre. You can also join a mountain bike excursion or a dance party. In the evening, there are events such as bingo and disco nights. Are you looking for more adventure? Every week there's an exciting night orienteering event and a large campfire.
