In the northeast of Belgium, just over the Dutch border, lies Camping Papillon Kinrooi. Here you camp in the beautiful Limburg landscape, surrounded by wooded countryside and the Maas. This green campsite has much to offer, such as a swimming lake, a bistro and two padel courts for the sports-loving campsite visitors. The beautiful surroundings invite you to go on long walks and bicycle rides.

Gypsy wagon island

At camping Papillon Kinrooi, you camp on the grass or on a paved motorhome pitch. Most of the pitches have a view of the water of the swimming lake. If you don’t have your own camping equipment, choose a luxury mobile home or gypsy wagon. All gypsy wagons are on an island in the centre of the pond.

Take a refreshing dip in the fishing and swimming pond. For a delicious lunch or an extended dinner, go to the bistro.

Sports and entertainment

Camping Papillon Kinrooi is a true family campsite. The youngest campsite guests can live it up in the playground and cuddle with the goats at the petting zoo. In the high season there is entertainment for the children and activities for the entire family are organised in the bistro.

Hoge Kempen National Park and Maastricht

Ther is enough to do in the surrounding area. The Vrijthof square in Maastricht is less than 50 kilometres from the campsite. Go shopping in the outlet centre in Roermond (21.5 km) or enjoy a cold drink on a terrace in Maaseik (5 km). The Hoge Kempen National Park (15 km) is definitely worth a visit. Explore the area on foot or cycle along one of the many cycle routes.
