Travelling party: Couple
Stayed here for a stopover for the night - we had done the same some years ago and thought we would give it another chance. Mistake! The staff in the office were little short of rude, and after paying (expensive!) you are ushered into a field where most cars have not even unhitched their caravans. You’d be as well in a motorway service car park. Won’t be back.

What a deceptive thing....to think of this site as a camping. We arrived around 19.45, and it was dark already. Nobody at the reception, nobody to be found..a note that said, put up your tent or caravan in this area and come pay tomorrow...... The site is not to be found, because there are nó lights. At all. You cant see where it is possible to put up anything. A young couple that had made reservations to sleep in a cabin arrived at the same time, and after trying to find and call the number, they slept in there car. We left. I will never go there again!!

one night stop on way home. appreciated shady pitch and go where you like. there is a nice lake and cycle path the shop is not great but you could stop at aldis on the main road nearby. mainly long stayers here bit odd atmosphere but near to junction and did the job. thought it was bit pricey for what it was. shower block was new and good facilities.
