Travelling party: Seniors
Site is situated in mature woodland so there is lots of shade. It is popular even in the off peak time. Caravan pitches vary in size - ours was very generous but others were compact. Some pitches were grass but some well used ones were gravel. It is two miles from the centre of Regensburg. There is a cycle track from the site into town and a park adjacent to the site.
Toilet facilities seemed quite new and were excellent - no charge for showers and free hot water for washing etc. There is free WiFi around the site.
The price is a little more expensive than other sites but worth it for the location.

I really don't recognise the earlier reviews in English. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful (despite my German being very limited). Facilities were good and clean. The pitch was roomy and good. The site is beside the Danube and the adjacent cycle path provides an easy and short route to the old town. Not the cheapest site but not disproportionately expensive. Bus stop (with timetable) next to entrance. Would certainly use this site again.

Very unfriendly people running the site. They were so unfriendly it spoilt the whole experience of visiting Regensburg which (now I'm home) was a nice place.
