A nice area and spotless toilet facilities. Found the male owner to be rude to my children and he topped that off by accosting me at the rubbish bins and going through my rubbish to see what recyclables I was throwing away - very creepy and unpleasant.
An excellent site for night halt but also for longer stays. Family run, very obliging and try to help out with English. Facilities are spotless – toilets, showers, washing up, clothes washing all under cover and in use all the time.
Nice bar/restaurant with slightly limited menu out of season (pizza, some pasta & sausage) but great lager. Pitches are terraced but flat & well mown grass with 16A electrics – if you have the choice, ask for the lower tier as it is very handy for everywhere. There is also some hardstanding for motorhomes.
Wifi is €2 for 24 hours and pretty reliable, although it can drop out in thunderstorms. Local area has great cycle paths and the bus stops at the entrance. Recommended.
Site mainly statics. Area for caravans all grass. Pitches a good size but tall hedge round areas gives no views. Staff helpful with some English spoken. Good site for visiting local attractions. Beware of local Supermarket in Schongau which will NOT accept credit or debit cards for food & fuel
Lovely stay. Have to visit the village, beautiful church. Can\'t use ground sheets but have to say that the grass was kept so well I could understand. Would visit again.
One of the best ACSI sites we have visited; toilet facilities were superb. Really friendly reception with small shop; WIFI access. Pitches at different levels quite spaced out. Would return here.
Stayed 4 nights at this well maintained campsite to visit local area attractions and was neither disappointed in the site or the local area. Nice stop over site for those transiting from Germany to Austria/Italy via the very scenic Garmisch Partenkirchen -Innsbruch route. Would reccommend this site to others and would certaintly stay there again in the future.
We had a brilliant stay at this very friendly campsite where we were treated with a warm smiley welcome from Mr and Mrs Owner; our lack of German language skills did not affect our stay. The site is very well situated for touring the Bravarian countryside and exploring the Alps. You can follow many of the walks from the site or the village which itself is only a short distance away. We would have no hestitation whatsoever in recommending this campsite. Check out the Rabbit paradise!!
