In the east of the tourist Tirol region, on the south side of the mighty Grossglockner, lies Nationalparkcamping Kals. You camp here on a low lying field or on one of the terraces. The campsite is popular with nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. With ski pistes galore, walking and cycling paths (from easy to strenuous) in the immediate vicinity of the campsite, there is no need to be bored.

The sanitary facilities were clean, new and well maintained. The campsite is at a beautiful location. The staff was friendly and helpful
Improvements could be made by adding communal spaces and organizing activities. We paid close to €50 per night for 2 people. This is a lot considering that the campsite offered nothing besides the minimum sanitary facilities and small shop. Since it gets cold easily in the mountains, a communal place to warm up and have shelter from sun and rain would be a great addition. Besides a few tables outside next to the main building, no shelter or communal space was offered.

This campsite is unique for its high altitude location, which determines variable weather conditions. We love this place, where we stayed four times with a family tent. The facility in a very good condition, clean and we maintained. The owners and staff are amazing.

Прекрасный кемпинг для тех, кто любит горы! Высокое качество сервиса. Кухня, санузлы и душевые на высшем уровне. Отличное расположение самого кемпинга. Удобная планировка зон для палаток. Все отлично!

The hosts were really kind. We were able to choose our own camping spot and enjoyed the time a lot, the whole camp site is in really good shape. Ever camping spot has power and the sanitary is really modern and clean. There are a lot of opportunities to hike directly next to the site.
