Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the ACSI Innovation Awards 2027. The awards are organised by ACSI Holding (hereinafter referred to as: the organiser). All participants agree to these General Terms and Conditions.

Art 1 Definitions

  1. General Terms and Conditions: these terms and conditions.
    1. Participant: an ACSI-affiliated campsite or a company active in the camping industry that registers via the online registration form or is nominated by the organiser.
    2. Winner: a campsite or company active in the camping industry that has won an ACSI Innovation Award.
  2. Website: acsi.eu/innovationawards

Art 2 General

  1. Participation in the awards is free of charge for participants.
  2. The winners will be announced on www.acsi.eu and in the media. Winners will also receive an email informing them of the result.

Art 3 Applicability of the General Terms and Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions apply to participation in the awards as a participant and to the general use of the website.

Art 4 Participation

Participation in these awards is possible by registering via the online form.

Art 5 Participation procedure

  1. Participation in these awards is exclusively open to campsites affiliated with ACSI and companies active in the camping industry.
  2. Participants must provide accurate, current and complete information about their campsite or company. Participation under a different name is not permitted.
  3. The participant guarantees that the information provided by them is correct, up to date and complete.
  4. Registration for participation in the awards via the online registration form is possible during the registration period (28-09-2026 to 31-12-2026).
  5. A registration is only complete once all requested details and any additional information have been provided in full.
  6. If the organiser suspects fraud or misuse by a participating campsite or company, the organiser has the right to disqualify that campsite or company without giving reasons.
  7. The organiser and its partners are obliged to provide participants with the option to unsubscribe at any time, including where consent has previously been given.

Art 6 Awarding of prizes

  1. Winners are selected and appointed by the ACSI expert jury.
  2. The awards are linked to the campsite or company concerned, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.
  3. The title won may be used by the winner indefinitely.

Art 7 Privacy and promotion

The organiser respects the privacy of individuals participating in the awards. The organiser will ensure that all personal information provided to it is handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

All winners give the organiser permission to use their name, as well as any videos and photographs relating to the award ceremony, for promotional purposes in connection with the awards.

By participating in these awards, winners undertake to cooperate with publicity relating to the ACSI Innovation Awards and not to impose any additional conditions on such cooperation.

Within reasonable limits, winners are expected, by virtue of holding this title, to cooperate in publicity activities, attend events or participate in other promotional activities.

Art 8 The website

The website may not in any way be accessed, used or read by technical or automated means for the purpose of automatically entering data, copying data to other storage media, sending spam or for any other purpose without the organiser’s express written permission.

Use of the website is entirely at the user’s own risk. The information provided is of a general nature and may be subject to change. Consequently, the organiser cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the information provided.

Art 9 Characteristics of the internet

Disruptions, delays or other irregularities may occur at any time in relation to the provision of information via the internet in general and via the website in particular, including but not limited to the transmission of viruses. The organiser accepts no responsibility and/or liability for any direct, non-material or indirect loss or damage, including consequential loss and loss of income, arising from incidents resulting from the use of the internet as a medium for the transmission of information.

Users of the website are advised that sending information by email or via a form involves security risks. The organiser accepts no responsibility and/or liability for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from the interception, use, misuse or alteration by third parties of information sent by the organiser and/or users via email.

Art 10 Third-party information and hyperlinks

References to websites, third-party information or hyperlinks are provided for the information of users of the website. Despite exercising the utmost care when selecting third-party information and websites to which references are made, the organiser cannot provide any guarantees regarding such information or hyperlinks. The organiser accepts no responsibility and/or liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage suffered by a user as a result of the use of third-party information or hyperlinks.

Art 11 Website maintenance and changes

The organiser reserves the right to temporarily take the website or parts thereof out of service for the purpose of maintenance, modification or improvement. The organiser will not be liable to participants for any loss or damage resulting from the website being temporarily unavailable.

The organiser acts in accordance with the privacy statement at https://www.acsi.eu/nl/privacy-statement/

Art 13 Liability

The organiser and its partners cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from these awards. The organiser expressly accepts no responsibility and/or liability for any direct, non-material or indirect loss or damage, including consequential loss and loss of income, resulting from access to or use of the website and/or the casting of a vote. Under no circumstances can the organiser be held responsible and/or liable for any inaccuracies, omissions or invalid information on the website.

Art 14 Intellectual property

The awards and the appearance, composition and technology of the website are protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the organiser and/or one of its affiliated partners. All information provided, including texts, graphic material, logos, images and audio material, is protected by copyright. Under no circumstances may users use the website in violation of copyright law. Information from the website may only be reproduced, edited, exploited or otherwise made available to third parties by users of the website with the express written permission of the organiser or another rights holder.

Art 15 Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions

The organiser is entitled to amend these terms and conditions at any time, as required and without prior notice. Any amendments will be announced on the website.

Art 16 Final provisions

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. In cases not provided for in these General Terms and Conditions, the organiser of the awards will decide. Unless otherwise prescribed by mandatory law, all disputes arising from the use of the website will be submitted to a competent court in the Netherlands.
