Site overall good. Toilets a little tired but ok. Small site for a city site but very informal. Bit of noise but that\'s to be expected in a city. Asked for directions into city guy on reception asked had I a bike to which I answered no. He said you must want to keep fit. He was a nice guy but could have told us about the free ferry across the river But that aside it\'s not a bad walk. Free ferry across during the day so using that it\'s about 20 mins. There\'s an under pass built In 1933 a little further down might take 15 min longer but worth a look. I would go back. I like city sites.
Ideally situated for a short bike ride into Antwerp. The site is looking tired and facilities need a good clean and an upgrade.
This could be an excellent site because of location but needs work.
We were met at reception by very friendly and helpful reception staff and the location is great for quite an easy walk into Antwerp. The site itself has flat pitches with electric hook up but the toilet facilities were poor, being over cowded with an awful smell
Stopped here as a base point, campsite looks dated but very adequate , showers and toilets very clean and nice , people onsite very friendly and staff very helpful , 30 min walk into Antwerp , taxi back is about 20 mins drive , would stop again !! Thumbs up
Just stopped here , staff and people on site very friendly and helpful, site is 30 min walkway from Antwerp town centre,, showers good and clean, kids park next to site, great surrounding area!! Shop 15 min walk away !! Would use again
Friendly welcome. Decent grass pitch. 30 min walk or easy cycle via tunnel into Antwerp. Swimming pool next door to site. Nice compact city to walk around.
A very nice little camp site. Prices are fantastically cheap. It cost a small amount for three of us to stay for two nights. The washing facilities are adequate. Only three showers in each side of the block but most residents had caravans equipped with showers so the blocks never got too full. The biggest let down was here also though. There is a disabled accessible WC but not an accessible shower.
The only other let down was the deposit system. €25 deposit for an electronic gate key. €25 deposit for the electricity adapter cable. An additional deposit for the key to the disabled WC. None of this was mentioned to us beforehand and was quite a shock. Despite the problems, we will return one day.
This campsite was only a few per night for my friend and I staying in a tent. They only had one night available since they use individual plots instead of letting more than one tent in an area. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. One staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, but the female was nice. They say they have a swimming pool, but actually it's a public pool next door. The noise from the pool bothers you during the day and then the noise from the nightclub next door bothers you all night. I did not enjoy staying here, bvut it was really inexpensive.
