It is one of the pearls on the Belgian coast: the Flemish historical beach resort of De Haan. Just outside the village, at the edge of the wood, lies the Kampeerverblijfpark Ter Duinen camping site. With the beach within walking distance and shops and restaurants in the vicinity, this is an ideal spot to spend a holiday. Moreover, it is also perfect for cycling along the coast. You can also take lovely walks through the dune forests.
The touring pitches are located on an open camping lawn without demarcation. Although the pitches offer little privacy, they are spacious and well kept.
Beach and water fun
In the direct vicinity of the camping site you will find lots to do. Adjacent to the camping site lies the recreation park Aquafun Sunparks with its subtropical swimming pool, wellness and various sports facilities. The beautiful sandy beach between De Haan and Wenduine, complete with promenade, is only 1 km away. You can reach the beach via a footpath through an attractive fir forest. In July and August there are weekly beach activities, such as a treasure hunt, sack races and making sand sculptures.
Artisinal ice cream
Your daily shopping can be done in the mini supermarket on the camping site. Want to go out for dinner? You will be spoiled for choice in De Haan: from pizzerias to restaurants with à-la-carte menus. You will also find stylish tearooms, cocktail bars and stalls with artisanal ice cream in this historic coastal town.
The camping site has a number of ablution blocks with toilets and wash basins. There is a separate building with showers. Everything is clean and modern. On the camping site there is a launderette and ironing room.
