On the Croatian peninsula of Istria, on a beautiful bay south of Rovinj, you will find camping Polari. This huge family campsite, with its large number of pitches, rental accommodation and facilities, is more like a village than a campsite. It is located directly on the Adriatic Sea and has a pebble beach and all kinds of water sports facilities.

Giant campsite

The Polari campsite extends over a generous sixty hectares. It is a largely open terrain, with many avenues and mostly spacious pitches. Some parts are a bit newer, with a tighter layout, other parts consist of fields without clear delimitations. There are no less than 1.500 pitches.

Apart from the many touring pitches, the campsite also has over hundred permanent and six hundred rental accommodations. There are almost four hundred mobile homes for rent, but also caravans, tents or luxury lodge tents.

Large water playground

There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool at the campsite. It is beautifully landscaped, with a separate shallow area for the little ones. A spacious sundeck with sun loungers and parasols all round. For children there is also a large water playground with various little pools, water jets and play equipment.

Restaurants and bars

There are various catering establishments at Polari campsite, so you don't have to leave the campsite for an evening out. At various locations you'll find a grill restaurant, a seafood restaurant and a pizzeria, but also a snack ba, coffee bars and cafes. By the pool is a beautiful, modern bar with views over the bay.

Der Platz ist praktisch gelegen, um die Stadt mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Ebenfalls liegen die Plätze im Schatten. Das Restaurant ist gut, aber eher teuer.
Unterhaltung und Sporteinrichtungen wurden nicht genutzt. Mit der ACSI Card stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Zeer grote camping. Het sanitair is supermooi en wordt de gehele dag schoongemaakt. Er komen niet veel kosten bij. In de directe buurt goede restaurantjes en Rovinj is schitterend. Wij hebben hier echt een weekje gerust na veel actieve avonturen in Slovenië. Persoonlijk vond in deze camping erg goed, maar veel te groot en massaal. Ik vind de kleine locaties leuker, maar is persoonlijk en doet niks af aan de beoordeling.

wir waren für 2 Nächte auf dem Campingplatz, sehr schöner Platz, super das unser Hund fast überall ins Wasser durfte. Sanitäranlagen super sauber, es wurde ständig gereinigt. beim Schwimmbad ziehe wie ein paar Punkte ab, sehr schön, aber es fehlten überall Fliesen. alles in allem toller Platz.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne als Paar aber auch mit den Kindern und Schwiegerkindern. Die Umgebung und der wunderschöne Weg entlang der Küste nach Rovinj, einfach wunderschön. Großer Minuspunkt für
uns viel zu viele Hunde auf dem Platz. Keine Kontrolle der Leinenpflicht.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, schöner Platz! Nur das Restaurant würde ich nicht empfehlen, Personal un freundlich, wenn man zum erstenmal kommt! Sind deshalb nicht mehr hingegangen! Alles drum herum sehr schön!

Pluspunten: rustig ondanks de grootte, voldoende natuurlijke schaduw, elektra en watervoorziening dichtbij, mooie fietsroute vlak langs zee naar Rohinj, vriendelijk personeel
Minpunten: slechte bewegwijzering op camping, wifi slecht, veel oud sanitair met douche gordijnen muv het nieuwste blok, vrije zone is erg ongelijk, er wordt te hard op de camping gereden (20 km toegestaan)

Schön gelegener Platz aber sehr laut. Premium Mare Platz am Weg mit sehr viel Fahrradverkehr und Autos mit Tempo 20, bei diesen Campern kann der Platz aber nichts dafür. Sanitäranlagen von unserem Platz schlecht zu erreichen.
