On the Croatian peninsula of Istria, on a beautiful bay south of Rovinj, you will find camping Polari. This huge family campsite, with its large number of pitches, rental accommodation and facilities, is more like a village than a campsite. It is located directly on the Adriatic Sea and has a pebble beach and all kinds of water sports facilities.

Giant campsite

The Polari campsite extends over a generous sixty hectares. It is a largely open terrain, with many avenues and mostly spacious pitches. Some parts are a bit newer, with a tighter layout, other parts consist of fields without clear delimitations. There are no less than 1.500 pitches.

Apart from the many touring pitches, the campsite also has over hundred permanent and six hundred rental accommodations. There are almost four hundred mobile homes for rent, but also caravans, tents or luxury lodge tents.

Large water playground

There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool at the campsite. It is beautifully landscaped, with a separate shallow area for the little ones. A spacious sundeck with sun loungers and parasols all round. For children there is also a large water playground with various little pools, water jets and play equipment.

Restaurants and bars

There are various catering establishments at Polari campsite, so you don't have to leave the campsite for an evening out. At various locations you'll find a grill restaurant, a seafood restaurant and a pizzeria, but also a snack ba, coffee bars and cafes. By the pool is a beautiful, modern bar with views over the bay.

Voorjaar 2024, geweldige camping met fantastisch sanitair, ruime plaatsen, alle voorzieningen die je kunt wensen, zoals zwembad, bootjes verhuur, goed en betaalbaar restaurant, mooie omgeving, Rovinji op fiets afstand, camping schoon en netjes, vriendelijk personeel. Kortom niets meer te wensen

Wahren in der Vorsaison Mai 2024 da, mit ACSI - Karte nur 27€,
hatten unter einigen Plätzen freie Auswahl,
Wahren schon das dritte mal da und kommen bestimmt noch öfter wieder

Mi meinen 80 Jahre. Bin schon 47 Jahre auf Polari und fühle mich immer noch sehr froh, wie ein Camping platz sein muss. Auch wieder 2026 mit ACSI mich freut es sehr wenn ich wieder kommen darf.

Sehr großer Campingplatz mit guten Sanitäreinrichtungen und ausreichend großen Stellplätzen. ACSI-Plätze befinden sich im westlichen Teil, Richtung Rovinj, mehr oder weniger komplett unter harzenden Bäumen. Positiv: Plätze durchaus ruhig, gutes WLAN in der Nähe der Sanitärgebäude, dort auch sehr freundliches und fleißiges Reinigungspersonal. Großzügige Liegewiesen am Meer mit akzeptablen Möglichkeiten ins Wasser zu gelangen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Discounter) in ca. 5 Km Entfernung - Rovinj. Hier viele Sehenswürdigkeiten für mehrere Ausflüge oder Spaziergänge.
Negativ: an mehreren Tagen kein warmes Wasser! Trockner, notwendig wegen hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, aber nur in einigen Sanitärgebäuden vorhanden und z. T. defekt. Dazu der Münzkauf an der Rezeption umständlich und überteuert. Bäcker und Supermarkt am Platz völlig überteuert, Personal hier eher desinteressiert und unfreundlich.
Restaurants bieten zwar geschmacklich gute Speisen, jedoch auf hohem Preisniveau. Hier lohnt es sich, einheimische Speiselokale in der Nähe anzufahren - sehr lecker, reichhaltig und preiswert.
Für Ausflüge in den Süden, Richtung Pula, ist der Campingplatz Polari geeignet. Richtung Norden, also Porec oder Novigrad, dafür umso weniger, da der Limfjord umfahren werden muss.
Fazit: wir hatten uns mehr vom Campingplatz und seiner Lage und seiner Umgebung erhofft. Ein erneuter Urlaub wird für uns dort nicht mehr stattfinden.

Très impressionnés au début par la taille du camping. A l'arrivée la réceptionniste nous précise d'aller choisir un emplacement Acsi, elle nous donne un papier avec ceux qui sont réservés à une date ultérieure. Je vous conseille d'en choisir plusieurs, on a dû s'y reprendre 2 fois. On était à pied, c'est grand! Bien installés dans une allée avec des espaces délimités, au calme, ce qui ne doit pas être le cas en bord de mer. Accès à Rovinj en vélo environ 7km. Je recommande vivement ce camping.

Ein sehr schöner großer Platz der für jeden etwas bietet.
Umfangreiche Freizeitangebote, mehrere gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Große Stellplätze, schöner Strand.
Die Sanitäranlagen ordentlich und sehr sauber, hier wird ständig geputzt.
In der Nachsaison gutes Preisverhältnis.
Mit dem Fahrrad nach Rovinj ist sehr zu empfehlen.
