Camp Veštar is located on the Croatian peninsula of Istria, between Rovinj and Bale. This large family campsite has recently been refurbished. The campsite has been completely renovated, with easily accessible pitches on pebble beds. Both the pitches and the paths are paved. Camping Veštar is a family campsite that is particularly popular with families with young children.

Paved paths and pitches

The large campsite covers fifteen hectares and is clearly laid out. The mostly straight paths are all paved. Camping Veštar has almost five hundred touring pitches, some permanent annual pitches and almost three hundred rental accommodations. Two hundred of these are mobile homes. These are located in a separate part of the campsite.

Isle in the swimming pool

In the middle of the campsite, between the section for touring campers and that for mobile homes, there is a beautiful swimming pool complex. It consists of several outdoor pools and a water playground. There is a deep swimming pool with a diving board, and a large recreational pool with an island and nice little bridges. On the tiled terrace are sun loungers and parasols.

Snorkeling

Camp Veštar is located directly on the Adriatic Sea, around a beautiful bay. Narrow pebble beaches have been laid out along the rocky shore and there is also a sunbathing lawn on the water's edge. In the clear water you can go snorkelling and scuba diving.

Bakery and ice-cream parlour

Scattered over the campsite you will find several restaurants. There is a pizzeria, a snack bar and a nice restaurant, located directly on the beach. Close to the swimming pool there are a few shops: a bakery, a fruit stall, a massage parlour and a shop with water sports equipment. There is also a bar and ice-cream parlour on the beach.

We wilden een CC plaats, maar we vonden de plaatsen die we konden krijgen nog erg in de zon. Verder grote plekken. Daarom besloten een plek beneden te kiezen bij het strand met mooi uitzicht. Prachtige plek, maar wat een prijzen. Prachtige camping, goed onderhouden, mooi schoon sanitair. Leuk strand, ook voor de hond. Wandelen. fietsen, alles kan, ook boottrip vanaf camping. Verder niks aan te merken.

Wir waren mit dem Wohnmobil auf Camping Vestar in Rovinj. Die Sanitäranlagen alle neu und suuuper eingerichtet. Waren total überrascht über so einen schönen Campingplatz. Das Personal ausserordentlich nett und mit der ACSI Card sehr preiswert. Essen gehen oder einkaufen auf dem Niveau von Deutschland

Mooie ruime plek bovenin. Wel een beetje schuin dus goed stellen. Sanitair was helemaal nieuw en werd de hele dag schoongemaakt door aardige dames. Er werd door de tuinmannen hard gewerkt om alles netjes te krijgen en de stortgelegenheid werd ook vernieuwd. Er stonden heel veel planten die nog gepoot moesten worden dus het zal wel mooi worden. Nog niet alle winkeltjes waren open en de restaurants hebben we niet bezocht. Mooi uitzicht op het strand en heerlijk om daar in de avond te wandelen of gewoon te zitten en te genieten van de rust en de vogeltjes. Met de fiets naar Rovinje was goed te doen alleen jammer dat fietspaden soms ineens ophouden of ontbreken zodat je langs de auto’s moet fietsen.

Waren Anfang September 2022 mit unserem Wohnmobil auf dem schönen Platz. Der Campingplatz ist sehr groß aber man fühlt sich nicht eingeengt. Das ist ein sehr familienfreundlicher Platz. Es gibt einen großen Pool und mehrere Kinderbecken. Ein sehr schöner Aquapark lässt alle Kinderherzen höher schlagen. Und dann gibt es noch einen schmalen Kiesstrand mit z.T. felsigen Abschnitten. Die kleine romantische Stadt Rovinj ist bequem mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen und sollte unbedingt besucht werden.
