On the west coast of the Croatian island of Krk is Camping Glavotok. Surrounded by pine trees and right by the sea, this is a great place for couples, families and other holidaymakers who like peace and quiet. From the campsite, you can walk straight into the sea for a refreshing dip. Here you will discover several bays and beaches. The rest of the island also has plenty to do and see, such as wine town Vrbnik or you can take a relaxing boat trip.

Wide choice of camping pitches and accommodation

There are various types of pitches at this campsite. Choose a spot close to the beach, or a quiet spot among the trees. Those who prefer more comfort choose a mobile home, bungalow or simple villa. These are practically furnished with plenty of privacy and often with sea views.

Family-friendly camping

The campsite has all the modern conveniences: a heated swimming pool with children's area and pool bar, a restaurant serving local food, sports fields - basically everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

But what makes the campsite special is its easy access to numerous beaches. Quiet bays with spots for snorkelling and even a dedicated dog beach. Find a quiet spot to soak up the sun with your partner, or choose a more lively setting on the central beach. Fancy an activity? Then hire a kayak or SUP or sign up for a jump into the deep end at the diving school.

essen: von 5 Muschel sind 2 geschlossen, das heisst nicht zu essen. Für
Scampi braucht es eine Lupe.
In der Poolbar wird man übersehen, ich musste nach 5 min ans Bügfet. Es war nur noch 1Tisch besetzt.

Super schöner Platz, sehr ruhig, etwas einsam gelegen, nix drumherum, Restaurant ist ok, Einkaufen 3,5 Km entfernt (7-14 Uhr), im Oktober fast kein Brot mehr bei (Auf-)Bäckerei (Kräuterbaguette zum Frühstück!?), nur noch 1 Sanitärhaus offen trotz guter Belegung des Platzes, nur 4-5 Männer-Duschen in sehr schlechtem Zustand (Schimmel überall, teilweise defekt; dieses Sanitärhaus hätte eigentlich 2022 erneuert werden sollen, ist nicht geschehen) - Fazit: man kommt ausschließlich wg. der schönen Natur hierher, Platz schön, drum herum grenzwertig

Ruhig gelegen, Sehr steile und sehr grober Schotterweg zum Terrassenplatz schlecht zu Fuß zum einzigen Waschhaus bei fast Ausgebuchtem Platz.
Waschhaus sehr renovierungsbedürftig, fehlende defekte Brausenhalter schimmelige Fugen in den Duschen und Waschbecken, Duschwannen sehr hoch und Dusche steht schnell untere Wasser da Duschvorhänge o äh fehlen.
Man sollte besser im eigenen Wohnmobil duschen.

Wir waren von Mitte August bis Anfang September 2022 auf dem Campingplatz Glavotok. Wir lieben das Meer und sind begeisterte Radfahrer. Die Parzellen sind sehr großzügig. Man findet Sonne oder Schatten, je nach Geschmack. Uns haben die tollen und weitläufigen Strandanlagen am Campingplatz sehr gefallen. Man kann jederzeit ausweichen. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber. Die sanitären Anlagen, insbesondere die Duschen, sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das hat unseren sehr positiven Gesamteindruck aber nur etwas verwässert.

Ein Campingplatz bei dem die anreisenden Gäste schon für das nächste Jahr wieder buchen Ich glaube das sagt schon alles.
Unterwasserwelt ist o.k. , sogar einige Sepias gesehen. Hatte. Glück und könnten vom Land längere Zeit eine Delphinschule beobachten.

Ein sehr schön gelegener Campingplatz mit Stellplätzen für kleinere WW bzw. WoMos. Wir haben einen kleinen WW (insgesamt mit Deichsel 6m) da war es gut machbar.
Die Anfahrt ist über eine tw. sehr enge Zufahrtsstrasse etwas abenteuerlich. So lange kein Gegenverkehr vorhanden ist, kein Problem. Mit Gegenverkehr und Gespann wird es an so mancher Stelle knapp. Keep cool...
Das Restaurant und die Tauchbasis sind in Ordnung.

Ein NoGo ist in der Hochsaison die Anzahl der Duschen und der Toiletten sowie der Spülmöglichkeiten.
Beispiel: Auf dem gesamten Platz zwei Duschhäuserl mit INSGESAMT 16 (je Häuserl 4x Herren und 4x Damen) Duschen für rd 400 Stellplätze. Anstellen und warten = obligatorisch.
Das die Sauberkeit der Sanitäranlage darunter leidet ist selbsterklärend und dass die (armen) Reinigunskräfte nicht nachkommen kein Wunder.

Insgesamt Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist definitiv Grenzwertig.
