This is a super campsite for visiting Prague. There isn't much to do at the site but it is located a short walk from a bus stop from where you can catch a bus to the metro station and then get into the centre of Prague. Tickets for both are available at reception. The staff are incredibly helpful and hard working. The young female in particular spoke superb English and was happy to answer our many questions.
The toilet facilities are superb and probably the cleanest we experienced all summer. This is because the staff are almost continually cleaning and tidying. It was a joy to shower there even if it did involve buying tokens.
We visited the restaurant which is on site and had a decent meal for a very reasonable price. It seemed to be authentic and the local beer was good.
There is not much to do when on site. The playground is very small and not much good for children older than toddlers. However we went into Prague both days we stayed so we only had a few hours of down time. We decided to use this time to do some laundry and were grateful for the multi-lingual washing machine!
The pitches are quite close together and a bit higgledy-piggledy but this added to the charm of the place.
I would highly recommend this site.
After touring for three months in Europe this is certainly one of the best we stayed in. Very friendly family run camp and the sanitary block is spotless. They even have a dispenser for a toilet seat cover! Plenty of shady pitches for those hot summer days also. Good transport to Prague city by catching a bus 10 minutes away to connect to the metro into the city. Total journey about 30 minutes. Nice little restaurant and bar at the rear of the campsite.
A very nice, quite and picturesque place in Prague. Lovely small restaurant with Czech beer :) The spot for a caravan is very big. There was an option to choose between places: under the trees or under the sun.
When someone has a passion for what they do - you can usually see it in the product. This campsite is obvously the pride and joy of those who run it. Immaculate site with a most friendly and helpful owner. A perfect base for exporing Prague via public transport, at the end of the day - a peaceful retreat from the over crowded city. Add to that - its cheap as chips even after Brexit! Cannot go wrong.
Brand new and immaculate quality toilet block. VERY friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Very casual layout, park where u want. Incredible value includes internet all over. Loved it here, ideal for Prague
We stayed three nights for a visit to Prague. Friendly welcome from the owner. Bus connecting to Metro stops 200m up the road in local village. Camp provides details of timetable. Short journey to metro. Alternatively, pleasant rural walk of around 1.5km to large shopping complex and metro station. Sanitary block looked very new and was meticulously clean. Showers by token. Had been raining when we were there and some pitches looked a bit soft, but site is flat so should be fine. Recommended.
