Ballum Campsite is a quiet, sheltered natural campsite. The campsite is located in the heart of the Vadehavet (Wadden Sea) National Park in very rural surroundings. From here it is not far to the Wadden Sea island of Rømø (with the widest sandy beach in Europe) and the historical towns of Ribe and Tønder . The campsite forms an ideal base for exploring the thinly populated region.

Spacious campsite

The campsite consists of clearly separated fields each offering space for several tents and caravans. A new circular-shaped terrain has been laid out for motorhomes. The sizes of the pitches vary from 100 to as much as 240 m2.

Relaxing in a rustic chalet

Ballum Campsite has four chalets which can be rented throughout the year. These rustic wooden chalets are in a quiet location and offer ample privacy. The chalets can be booked per night or per week. You can make use of all the campsite facilities. The chalets are suitable for three (type B) or four/five people (type A). Rental tents and caravans are also available.

Dogs are welcome

The campsite owners are real dog lovers. That is why your four-legged friends are welcome at Ballum Campsite. The campsite has a fenced-off leash field where you can play with your dog, It is also easy to walk the dog outside of the campsite. On the camping grounds, the dog must be leashed; this is not necessary near your camping equipment.

Entertainment for children

For the children there is a recently renovated playground which includes playground equipment and a bouncy castle. There is also a lovely area where you can read or watch TV. As of recently, you now also have the possibility to play a game of table football or darts.

Wij zijn twee pensionado’s die met veel plezier op deze camping hebben verbleven. Sanitair super schoon, zeer vriendelijke bediening en een een super plek voor uitstapjes naar het wad en allerlei leuke plaatsjes

Deze Camping is geweldig als je er met de hond naar toe gaat.
Er is een groot losloop stuk zelfs met water waar de honden veilig los kunnen lopen.
Ook de omgeving is heel mooi om wandelingen met je hond te maken, er is keuze
uit diverse afstanden.
Een supermarkt is op loopafstand te bereiken ga er met 2 naar toe en neem de hond
mee, ze mogen daar niet naar binnen toe, dat is duidelijk toch?

Buitengewoon leuke camping. Gastvrije ontvangst en ook in de dagen daarna. Je staat op mooie kleine veldjes. Wij mochten/konden onze plek zelf uitkiezen. Prima sanitair dat goed schoongehouden werd. De zelf gebakken broodjes werden door ons zeer gewaardeerd. In de omgeving is volop te doen. Wandelen vanaf de camping, fietsen, de Waddenzee, oude stadjes, eiland Romo. Een aanrader.

Hele mooie camping, met zeer goede voorzieningen. Mooi, schoon sanitair. Heerlijk brood te bestellen, super. Camping ligt mooi bij de Waddenzee, heerlijk gefietst. Mooi, rustig land, waar wij zeker nog eens naar toe gaan. Organisatie door Klaas en Linda, was super goed geregeld. Met een camping app van alle gemakken voorzien..
