On the outskirts of the beautiful town of Saverne lies the quiet family campsite Seasonova Les Portes d’Alsace. Because of the many beautiful trees, the campsite has the ambiance of a park. Between the trees on the lawn you will find beautiful, large camping pitches which are not demarcated. As a result you have quite a lot of space. Behind the residential building, which houses the reception, lies a small heated swimming pool (40 m2) with a sliding roof. Children can splash around in the paddling pool and play in a playground with slide and sand pit. Entertainment is also provided.

Signposted routes and entertainment

At the reception you can rent a mountain bike or (electric) bike to explore the area. Staying on the campsite is not a bad idea, either. During the week in peak season nice activities are organised. The table tennis table, pétanque court as well as the beach volley ball field are some of the popular facilities on this campsite.

'Can we go to the pizza car?'

You can order fresh rolls and other delicacies which are delivered daily. The camping shop stocks the most essential necessities as well as convenient take-away meals. Ideal if you arrive late and do not have time or feel like cooking. A few times a week the the popular pizza car stops by.

Inclined plane

The Arzviller inclined plane (boat lift) is part of the Marne-Rhine Canal near Arzviller. The canal has seventeen locks over a four kilometre stretch. In total a height of 44 m is bridged. You can go on a nice outing to Océanide Saverne, a swimming paradise (with fitness centre, sauna and hammam) beautifully located on a hill with gardens.
