Camping Lou Castel is just outside the town of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle in the southeast of the Dordogne. Castelnaud is mainly known for its impressive medieval castle that towers above the centre. In any case, you will find numerous picturesque towns and photogenic castles in the Dordogne. If you want to admire some of these, this campsite is a perfect departure point. From Lou Castel, you can reach tourist attractions such as Saint-Cyprien, Belvès, Beynac-et-Cazenac and the famous Sarlat-la-Canéda in 30 minutes by car at the most. Furthermore, you can take wonderful forest walks and mountain bike trips in the direct vicinity. This campsite is ideal for families with children, especially in the high season.

You will find the reception right by the campsite entrance. The tourist pitches take up about half the site. If you decide to book a pitch at Camping Lou Castel, a neatly demarcated pitch on grass awaits you. The other half of this campsite has various types of accommodation. You can spend the night in a mobile home, lodge tent or a charming motor home.

Lots of water fun in the aqua park

You will find two heated indoor swimming pools, one with a retractable roof. Between both swimming pools, there are three water slides you can whizz down. And the youngest campers? They will have lots of fun in the large paddling pool, where the water sprays, fountains and small slides allow them to have fun and play in the shallow water. Everyone staying at the campsite can go to this swimming pool for free.
