We loved this campsite. Its in a perfect location, with fantastic facilties, yet still retains the atmosphere of a small campsite. The swimming pool area is great, with 3 waterslides. The restaurant served well priced local specialites. There was entertainment every second or third night. This was always high quality and family friendly, ie acrobats, clowns, samba band, etc. The family that own the campsite are very friendly and helpful. They work very hard to ensure that everyone has a good time. You can buy wine from their vineyard in the shop, its deliciuis.
Stayed here with our small motor home when the site was very quiet in September. Had a choice of pitch, not always the case even when in low season. The water was hot in the showers but a big disappointment was the unheated covered pool, in the quide it stated it was heated. Real shame as it is an excellent pool for swimming lengths which we like to do. However the site is run by a charming French couple, the restaurant was open where we had a very enjoyable and inexpensive meal. In all a site we would return to.
We have stayed on a site near this one several times but decided to have a change and go for this ACSI site. We were favourably impressed, good value, good pool, helpful staff.
