Friendly farm campsite

The reception exudes an atmosphere of the original farmlife of days gone by. When you drive to your pitch, you will see a beautifully located campsite with spacious pitches on a slightly sloping terrain. The campsite is surrounded by beautiful forests. The terrain is of a modest size, but spaciously laid out. The campsite has 45 pitches. If you travel without your own camping gear, you can rent a mobile home or a lodge tent. La Grande Veyière is a terraced campsite. The higher your pitch, the more beautiful the view.

Cafeteria and shop

In the campsite shop you can buy basic groceries. The campsite also has a snack bar. You can eat your meals in a beautiful old building. Fresh bread is available in the morning. Take-away meals, including breakfast, are available. There is a communal barbecue area on the grounds.

Extensive sanitary facilities

Camping La Grande Veyière has beautiful and extensive sanitary facilities. These include individual cubicles, showers, toilets and sanitary facilities for the disabled. Also available: a baby room, family sanitary facilities and a provision for emptying chemical toilets of motorhomes or caravans.

Liked - The campsite is in a lovely quiet setting. Spacious pitches

We had booked well in advance of our stay so the site manager should have been prepared for our arrival.
This should be a lovely campsite but there is clearly a problem.

Disliked - All but one of the toilets and showers were fit to use. The others were foul with faeces and months of dirt. The manager locked all but the cleanish toilet and fairly clean shower. The chemical toilet facility was foul with faeces and had no running water working. Many of the sinks had not been cleaned for months.

Liked - We appreciate the quietness, relaxed atmosphere, availability of food, drink and ice cream, proximity to nearby villages and markets, trees and spaciousness of the site, the pool - imperative in the heat we had during the week.
Disliked - Some mornings there was not enough toilet availability- and this was when the site was not very full.

Liked - We had a wonderful relaxing stay at this beautiful family-run campsite. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The facilities were always spotlessly clean. The region is very beautiful. Papa's home-made pizzas are truly excellent. Thank you so much!

Liked - Fantastic campsite with the loveliest family owners. They are so attentive and helpful and word hard all day long to look after you. Serving bread and pastries in the morning, serving drinks, running the kids club and providing information about the area. Great entertainment in the evening and lovely pizzas at the restaurant.
