Camping Le Pont de Mazerat is situated in the woody and hilly landscape of the Dordogne, more specifically the Périgord Noir. This region is known for the Caves of Lascaux, the many castles and the characteristic towns of Montignac and Sarlat. The small-scale campsite is situated exactly between these towns. You will find an open campsite in the free nature, where you can camp in all peace and privacy.

Privacy and quiet
On the campsite Le Pont de Mazerat you will camp in the open air. The pitches are all equally spacious and are situated between trees and high hedges. This gives you a lot of privacy and peace. In addition to the fifty or so touring pitches, the campsite has ten special camper pitches and almost forty rental accommodations: mobile homes, Coco Sweet lodges and safari tents.
Swimming in the sun
Next to the grassy field is the campsite swimming pool. This is not particularly large, but for an hour of water fun it is fine. The shallow end can accommodate smaller children, and next to the pool is a paddling pool for the little ones. The swimming pool is in the sun; for a place in the shade you can sit on one of the deck chairs under the parasol.
The Tamniès bathing lake
Do you find the swimming pool too crowded? No problem, because a few minutes walk and you are at the Etang de Tamniès. This large recreational lake is almost always quiet, so you can swim extensively. A part of the lake is fenced off for swimmers. Sun lovers can spread out their towel on the sandy beach at the edge of the lake.
