Detail information about this campsite
"Pleasant, basic campsite, located in green area. Open all year round, good and heated toilet block. Bordeaux is quickly accessible by bus, tram or bicycle. Bicycle track along the campsite to shops and surrounding woods. Reservation in high season certainly needed. Free wifi."

Toilets are immaculate and smell of cleanliness. Showers are awesome with great shower heads and space. All facilities are very very good value for money. Couldn't ask for better. There is WiFi on site too and works extremely well. Definitely will be back.
Small friendly campsite. Easy to find and well signposted. Limited number of touring pitches and even out of season it is advisable to book beforehand. As has been previously mentioned the toilet facilities are mixed but they are modern, very clean and most important for March, heated. The park and ride tram is a couple of miles away and runs to the centre of Bordeaux - a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
We came here because of the good reviews and were not disappointed. On a busy and very hot day, during lunchtime we were shown to a spot politely. We cannot fault the facilities or the surroundings. The reason for the low stars for child friendly is because of the isolation. There are really no facilities for children although I am sure they would not be unwelcome.
This is a wonderful family run small site. The access from the main trunk roads is simple especially when traveling north. When you're within half a mile of the site look for signs.
Access onto the site appears quickly so take care once on the site it can be a little crowded at reception but it's fine.
The staff are husband and wife and they are lovely they speak English and their high standards are very evident on the site.
The pitches are on the small side but our 8m caravan with mover coped well.
The toilet, shower, washing facilities are amongst the best we have seen.
A site frequented by a number of English as a stop off. Book early it's a well used site.
We had not pre booked this campsite and only just got in- pre-booking is recommended. The pitch was hard but ok. Bathrooms were adequate. The staff were helpful and forthcoming with information on the Bordeaux region. Able to do a park and ride 6km away from campsite to get into the centre of Bordeaux. Great over night stop over
Great position and a real great feel to this small site. Got large 5 ton motorhome in no problem. Toilets showers modern and clean. Didn't like the fact it wAs mixed but maybe that's the French way. 10 amp electric. Good price. Good restaurants very close. I will be back
This is a small site, the pitches are fine, the toilet block clean. Sadly the female own is a dragon, bad tempered to the point of rudeness... no acsi discount. Not worth the money. Not recommended, we will not be returning
No idea why people thing this is the best they have seen. On our one month trip this was in the bottom half.
Reception was a nice guy with no English but he was nice and we managed.
Small sloping pitch .
Nothing extra at all
Two bars/restaurants within 100 yards and a bus stop about the same.
OK for an overnight but no more.
We stayed extensively in France and Spain in May June 2018 so judging it by fabulous other sites with very up to date facilities and sanitary block, This is OK but comes nowhere near to UK and other better and no more expensive French sites.
We would only stay again if the price was low out of season and needed an overnight stop off.
Very long drive (30 mins) to the sea if you wanted to go there
