Come and camp among the open fields of France's Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. At campsite La Côte for example, you can enjoy a heated swimming pool with jacuzzi, a game of football or an afternoon of jeu de boules. There is no entertainment team at this campsite. This makes it extra quiet. But you will have a great time, because there is plenty to do in the area. Are you going to take a lesson at the surf school?

Immerse yourself in peace and quiet

The first impression is a good one: La Côte campsite is well maintained. Immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of this campsite. You can sleep comfortably in your tent or caravan on a spacious and shady pitch. The sanitary facilities are clean and well cared for. But you can also come here without your own camping equipment. There are several mobile homes and cottages in various designs.

Enough to do

As there is no entertainment team present, you can enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. However, there is also plenty to do. Hire a bicycle, for example, or enjoy a game of jeu-de-boules. You can also use the sports fields for a game of football or basketball. The little ones can enjoy themselves in the playground. And with the sea nearby, you can go surfing or swimming.

Dive into the pool before dinner so you are refreshed to join the queue for a takeaway pizza. In high season, you can pick it up at reception. Need more groceries? You can find a supermarket along the D652, just one kilometre from the campsite.

Liked - Swimming pool is nice and the waterskied are fun. With the bike it is close by the beach and a supermarket
Disliked - Missing a small bar what could be located behind the reception next to the swimming pool.

Liked - Large sites, lot of shadow, very clean toilets/showers, great clean swimming pool. Food trucks, quite close to supermarket. Really very very nice camping site.
Disliked - It would be nice if there was supervision at night. We had some problems with noise from other residents (youngsters). And also from residents from other campings coming and stealing stuff.

On a smaller scale: more shadow places at the swimming pool would be appreciated and longer opening hours of the swimming pool, especially earlier in the morning.

Liked - The staff were so helpful from the beginning till the end. We will definitely comeback to enjoy the region and to enjoy the surfing.
