Travelling party: Couple

We are new to motorhoming in France and have only stayed on 3 sites so far. However, we really liked this one for it\'s peace and quiet. There are lots of competing sites around, all with their own style. This one is tranquil amongst the tall trees which provide excellent shade. Clearly family run and Mr & Mrs with their daughters pay attention to all the details.

Everyone is friendly and respectful of each other\'s space. Sites are spacious. Toilets are clean and adequate. There\'s a big washing machine for 4euro. Communal BBQ area. Wifi 1euro for 10 days works fine. Electricity but no water at the pitches. A pool for a cool is clean with lots of lounging beds and a hydro!

At the end of the track there is a riding school and we found a lovely 5k loop for a jog around a small lake. Several herons taking off from the little stream leading to the lake, lovely, but spray with anti mosquito before setting out for this one!

We are keen cyclist and have made good use of the plentiful bike paths and piste cyclable around. There\'s a Super U supermarket 5 minutes walk away where they sell absolutely everything!

A mobile take away food van arrives in the evening if you fancy a take away.

We can also recommend the Pizza and Burgers at the campsite just along the road on the same side, accessible from the back of the site on the left.

We liked it so much here we stayed for a week

First class site plenty of shade and good sizes pitches, good location for the beach and town although catering the town was more for the family holiday, than us old folk. Good pool but not water in it when we stayed, same for the no sign of either to early in the year.
Will go again.

Lovely campsite with great toilets and shower facilities - the best we have found in our 6 weeks in France . Cycle path out of the back of campsite gives an easy route to beach and town. Fantastic value.

Fabulous campsite. Lovely owners who care about your stay. Clean toilet block. You can walk to shops and the beach and cycling from your pitch is a real bonus.

This has got to of been my most favourite campsite so far! We travelled through France and Spain for 2 months in sept and oct 2014 and stayed for 10 days here without wanting to move on! Beautiful pine forests with a 15/20 min walk to a lovely beach. Great toilet facilities and pool area friendly owners/staff and amazing food vans that come on different days! Also a short walk to supermarket and town.lovely area

Travelling party: Young couple

The campsite is very well kept, has large well marked out pitches with a mix of sun and shade, clean shower blocks with hot water and a lovely swimming pool. There is also a small on-site shop and play area for children. It is about 20 mins walk to the beach and there is a large supermarket nearby. This campsite is aimed at those wanting peace and quiet as opposed to lively entertainment and would completely fulfil this if it wasn't for 2 factors which, in our opinion, did spoil the peace and quiet: To the south of the campsite is a builders merchants and although you can't see this from the campsite, you can certainly hear the constant revving of truck engines every day as they were loading and unloading. Then, from early evening until late on most evenings, you could hear music and cheering from one of the large campsites nearby. Overall it is a nice campsite, with good walking and cycling routes and a great beach, it’s just a shame about what surrounds it!

We spent a superb three nights here in June 2012. The weather was very changeable as everywhere this Summer but we were able to make use of the fantastic pool facilities. Not so straightforward getting to the beach on foot. The pitches were large and well delineated. Staff were most helpful.
