Camping Le Repos du Baladin is a small-scale family campsite in the Regional Natural Park of the Auvergne volcanoes. You'll find the campsite in the heart of Puy-de-Dôme, east of the medieval village of Murol. Here you camp on a spacious campsite, under the watchful eye of the Château de Murol. This castle, situated on a mountain, is a nice destination for a day trip.

Small-scale campsite with large grounds
Despite its small-scale character, the campsite is spacious. Behind the main building you first see a playground and the sanitary building, most of the touring pitches are situated behind it. In total there are sixty pitches; they all look different. The site is divided in several small fields, which are mostly flat, but increase slightly at the back. There, on the wooded slope, are most of the tent pitches. On the flat part you'll find comfort pitches and rental accommodations, separated from each other by thick hedges.
Outdoor and indoor pool
Just a cooling dip? To the left of the entrance are the two swimming pools. A spacious outdoor pool (heated, for when it's unexpectedly a little cooler) and an indoor pool. Probably the outdoor pool is warm enough, as it lies in the sun. Around the pool are sunbeds and some parasols.
Snack bar
The former hotel does not only house the reception but also the snack bar.It is open in high season. Don't expect a three-course dinner, but it’s open for a good pizza or some fries from mid-June.You can also order fresh bread during the same period. Outside you'll find the covered patio.
